ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to announce the second year of this, the empire that has become 26 things! crap, typo right there.

i'd like to thank all of my friends for helping out with lists over the past weeks, they're really what makes this site so awesome, is the fact that i get so much input and help from everybody. i'd also like to thank my agent, you're so wonderful, and i'd like to thank the academy...

as for today's list, i'll admit, it's not all that funny. and it really wasn't meant to be. actually, in hindsight, it's kinda sappy. but hopefully, something will click in this list, and you'll sit there and think, "yeaaah..." so yeah, take this list, and enjoy. happy birthday!

1. turning on the radio to a song you like
2. waking up right before the alarm clock goes off
3. finding something you didn't know you lost
4. licking an icicle like a popsicle
5. walking into a store to find that the item you needed just went on sale
6. taking time on a friday to realize you had nothing to worry about the rest of the week
7. homemade cake
8. finding a penny, regardless of what side's up
9. playing a childrens board game with friends
10. when you think your computer's about to crash, but then it doesn't
11. hanging something absolutely ridiculous on your wall
12. getting an email from a friend you haven't seen in a long time
