alas... the time has come.

25 reasons to make lists of 25

1. you just had an idea for a list of 25 things. (duh.)
2. it's a simple way to vent.
3. you're stuck in study hall for three straight periods.
4. you're not allowed to play cards.
5. there's no piano around.
6. you're tired of counting cows as you drive by them.
7. you like not making sense.
8. it's an easy way to get your name published in the newsletter no one reads anyway.
9. it burns calories, gives you vitamin c, and tastes great too!
10. because someone paid you to. (i wish!)
11. so you can post it on a blog page where people are less likely to see it than that newsletter.
12. it sure beats football!
13. you can insult people without them knowing it. bwaha!
14. it's an easy way to communicate inside jokes to people through others who dont get the joke.
15. because i said so!
16. because somewhere out there, there just might be some big newspaper/magazine editor who's looking for the next big regular column for their publication, and they just so happened to have heard my name... naah, it'll never happen. 17, because i can wish upon a star.
18. because fifteen items later, you're still stuck in study hall.
19. it gets 'em involved, you know, keeps the kids off the streets.
20. because you're too carsick to read, but not carsick enough to write.
21. it's a good way to stall off that homework assignment.
22. it's a good way to get rid of writer's block... that is, until you get writer's block making the list.
23. because you like being boring, monotonous, etc. to other people.
24. there's nothing on tv. well, nothing worth watching. and that encompasses about everything.
