holy friggin, i am back from the big applesauce... and i have not one, not pi, but TWO lists for you to enjoy!!! i made one list of 25 things about new york... but was so disappointed that i left so many things off... so i put them in another list. you're seeing the second list now, since they werent the first up ideas, but were still great. but you're not even reading this, so why even try?

so yeah... these lists... pretty much random mixes of things or events that occurred, and quotes. trust me, there was so much i wanted to put on these lists, but... well... a little too funky for the 70s.

25 good things about new york city...
part one! whoa! this is so cool!

1. playing pinball at kfc
2. winning an 8-piece chicken basket instead of a superball (which kinda sucked... i wanted that superball!)
3. "ralph nader should be our next president"
4. doing the weather with al roker... kinda.
5. on a similar note, riding with conan obrien in his desk... kinda
6. not seeing the end of "clueless" (but still, we watched the beginning, so this doesnt really count.)
7. "yeah, and if you want milk in your tea..." (you dont wanna know what came after that.)
8. singing "run children run" just one more time
9. the international napkin song
10. the three-headed broadway star
11. "okay, here's the game. the person who gets the most pigeon crap on them in sixty seconds wins. ready? oh wait, no touching the pigeons. you can't pick it up and squeeze it."

12. pretty good views from the hotel rooms
13. better views at night
14. "but don't take my word for it... buh duh dum!"
--another recurring phrase throughout the week... does anyone even remember "reading rainbow?"
15. slipping and falling on the park bench while getting on the top row for a group photo... that was funny. landed right on my butt.
16. finding the hidden door in the art museum (it was on the map, but it was a plain white wall with one crack in it...)
17. "i am cuban, hear me roar!" --tara
18. similiarly... "she's got cuban hair! she's got cuban heritage! she's got cuban hair-itage!" --me, after tara commented about her cuban hair
19. the girls in the back of the bus finally getting yelled at... twice!!!
20. finally finding the mailbox in the city... i mean, there was one in every corner, but why couldnt i find them?
21. "it takes a lot to get aaron on the lound graphing."
--me... i hate accidentally spooning things.
22. not seeing a single political ad anywhere!!! (no seriously, you have no idea how happy this makes me!)
23. "may i get my bag?"
"no, you may not."
"well tough nuggets!"

--haha... i got slapped by beth for no reason... and you didnt!
24. the rare opportunities to eat tons of bacon and sausage without mother dearest interfering... hafta grab those as they come.

this is my mom when she just doesnt give a crap: meh."
