so... you're playing a song on the piano. its a nice little ditty... doesnt matter who wrote it or what it's called. just some song on the piano. when all of a sudden, you see a measure in which the right hand and the left hand both play a rest with a fermata.

what? a rest with a fermata? that means rest... and hold it. holding a rest? seems boring... there's gotta be something better to do.
