long overdue? you bet. it has been way too long since i've posted a list here. i'm fully aware of that, thank you very much. but in all honesty... it really has gotten hard. as i crank out (well...) these lists, it's harder and harder to come up with new ideas that don't suck. and/or, it's harder to actually write lists with the ideas i come up with. i cleaned out my trapper keeper last week (which serves as my list-writing hq away from the computer), and found thirteen started lists... half done, or even only five items done, or even less! and we're not even counting the numerous times i started a list, had second thoughts, and erased what i had done... i'd go through about 3-5 ideas on paper that way.

but nonetheless, i managed to make a list, and i have several more coming down the pipelines, not one or two deep, but one or two left. which makes me rather excited. so excited, that i think this is the most italics i've ever used in a single list.

marching band: we do these songs when we're sitting in the stands during football games. they're commonly referred to as "stand music". creative name. and we have a pretty good repertoire... "your mama don't dance", "dragnet theme", "pretty woman", lots of good music. but there's some stuff we could play to make it even better. see, more italics.
